South Baptist Welcomes Pastor Scott Snyder

South Baptist Church is pleased to welcome Pastor Scott Snyder as our new lead pastor. His last Sunday with his current church will be Sunday, July 11, 2010. Pastor Snyder will officially be an employee of South Baptist Church on August 1, and his first Sunday as lead pastor will be August 8. We will have his installation service on Sunday, September 12. We thank God for leading the Snyders to our ministry!

Women’s Walk & Talk

Do you enjoy walking? Do you enjoy fresh air? Do you enjoy talking? Then Walk & Talk is for you! Every Wednesday at 9:00 AM, ladies from South meet in the church parking lot and set out on a new adventure together. Please contact Carol Vandemark for additional information.

Summer Wednesday Night Video Series: “Twisting the Truth”

The most dangerous lies are the ones you never notice. Common but deadly deceptions impact you every day. They can twist your thinking in ways you’d never expect and leave you with a life you never imagined. Your ability to recognize them can spell the difference between happiness and the loss of all you hold dear. Do you see them? In this five-session video experience, Andy Stanley exposes some common ways God’s truth gets twisted. Each one has the potential to destroy your relationships, cloud your decisions, and distort your perception of him. This study helps us discover the ways the truth gets twisted in our lives and culture and, more importantly, how we can recognize and overcome them. Series begins Wednesday, June 9 at 7:00 pm in the Worship Center.
