Core Classes

In order to be good stewards of the souls that God has given to us here, we believe that we need to be doing the best job possible at getting people equipped through the learning opportunities we provide.  Therefore, the purpose of our Core Class Ministry for Adults is strategic, interactive, transformational Bible study that will equip Christ-followers. To accomplish this purpose, we use our time together each Sunday morning to involve all adults in:

 

1. Core Modules –  A rotation of four classes that adults will attend in the course of a year.

These 8 week classes cover specific subject matters that have been strategically chosen because we believe that they are important for every adult in the church to know for their spiritual growth. Therefore, throughout a year all adults will rotate through each module. This year the focus of our Core Modules is Spiritual Disciplines, and the four modules being taught are:

Module #1 – Effective and Meaningful Bible Study                  

Module #2 – The Power of Prayer and Fasting                                           

Module #3 – Showing and Sharing Your Faith                             

Module #4 – The Wonder of Worship            

 

 

2. Core Electives –  A break from the Module rotation, these are offered twice a year.

Electives are designed to address the everyday needs of adults and families. They are offered twice a year, allowing you the opportunity to choose to be involved in two of them.  In keeping with the theme of Spiritual Disciplines, this year’s electives are:

The Discipline of Putting on the Armor of God                           

The Discipline of Developing a Servant’s Heart                                          

The Discipline of Growing an Amazing Marriage                        

The Discipline of Shepherding a Child’s Heart
