Outreach

The Bible makes it clear that God expects His people to make a positive difference in the world! Primarily, we have the joyful responsibility to share the good news of Jesus Christ with others. We also sense our duty to reach out in material ways, thereby practically demonstrating Christ’s love. We are committed to reach out to our world through a variety of means.

Missions

South Baptist is a missions-minded fellowship! We provide regular prayer and financial support to more than forty missionary families and related agencies. In addition, we encourage our church family to participate in short-term missions trips as a means of gaining valuable experience in worldwide outreach.

Visitation Ministries

Opportunities are available for those who wish to make visits in a variety of situations.

Community Outreach

Various activities are held in our community to demonstrate “no strings attached” kindness in the name of Jesus. We call these events “Random Acts of Kindness.” During the holidays our Caring Through Sharing ministry assists needy families in our community.

Other Opportunities

Periodically, we are privileged to share God’s love through ministry at the Genesee County Jail and Rosehaven Retirement Community. Men’s and Ladies’ Friendship Breakfasts and annual Christmas Gatherings throughout the community provide opportunities to introduce friends to Jesus.
