W.I.L.D. 2010

W.I.L.D. 2010

May 15-21, 2010

  • Do you need to connect with God?
  • Do you need time to think?
  • Do you need a challenge?
  • Do you need to unplug from work?
  • Do you need to be refocused and refreshed?
  • Do you need an opportunity to connect with other men?

If you answered “yes” to any of those questions, then I would like to invite you to attend W.I.L.D. with me and other men from South Baptist. The word “wilderness” is used nearly 300 times in the Bible. Many times, God’s people would find themselves in the wilderness. These occasions were used for preparation, renewal, correction, protection, and to meet with God. A wilderness trip like W.I.L.D. provides the opportunity to address all these needs in the lives of men.

W.I.L.D., or Wilderness Institute for Leadership Development, is a multi-level leadership development program that takes place during an actual wilderness expedition. W.I.L.D. takes place in the beautiful lakes, rivers and trails of Algonquin Provincial Park in Ontario, Canada. We’ll spend four nights in the park — canoeing and portaging our way through. We will enjoy meals over an open fire and conversations about our experiences, reflections, and study of God’s Word. You can find more information about W.I.L.D. at www.simplyapilgrim.com.

Would you consider taking your own wilderness journey? I am confident that if you go on W.I.L.D., it will be an experience that will impact you greatly and one you will not soon forget!

Please reply with any questions or to let me know that you are going to attend.

Pastor Don Chapin
