Young Adults

There are many opportunities for Young Adults to take advantage at South!  The 18-30 year old age range is the target for this ministry, and we desire to see them get focused, equipped, connected, and involved.  Some of the ways to accomplish this are these:

Core Classes/Electives – Young adults are assimilated into the Adult Core Class Ministry for four 8-week periods in a calendar year, and have “their own” Core Class for the two 8-week Core Electives. 

Life Group – Young Adults have their own Life Group, which meets weekly for application discussion centered around the Sunday morning message, and fellowship and small group care.  Life Groups meet during the months of January through May and August through November.  Please contact the church office for details when and where the Life Group meets.

UNiTED -  A gathering for young adults for worship, teaching, and community.  Formed out of a desire to reach college students in the church and community--students, graduates, and adults came together for prayer and brainstorming of how to meet the spiritual and social needs of a lost generation. United is the result of prayer and sacrifice, to create a gathering for young adults.

There are many opportunities to serve at South for Young Adults.  Music, Drama, Kidtown, Technical Opportunities and other areas are always needing members to get involved!  See Pastor Don for assistance in this area.
